UK Roofing Awards 2025–Intense Round of Shortlisting for Roofing Experts
The team of three roofing experts meticulously review each submission to select the finalists they will present to external judges.
With a record-breaking number of entries, the shortlisting process for 2025 is a demanding task for Bob, Gary, and Ben of NFRC's Technical Team, each of whom is delegated a category based on their particular industry knowledge, experience, and expertise.
Having the NFRC Technical team review entries is a fundamental step to ensuring only the best entries are presented to the judges, taking into account industry standards, best practice and technical knowledge, rather than just aesthetics. Each entry is scored on five key elements: complexity, challenge, workmanship, safety and project management.
The judging round will take place at NFRC's Head Office, London, where Bob, Gary, and Ben will each present their nominated finalists per individual category and explain the reasons as to why the project has been shortlisted. The panel of independent judges will then decide, based on this evidence, which they feel should be a winner and score finalists accordingly. Scoring is strictly confidential and the entire process is overseen by an independent adjudicator.
Shortlisted finalists will be contacted directly and announced to the press and via social posts later in March. So be sure to keep an eye on NFRC social media channels and our news listings to find out which entries were shortlisted.
Winners are only announced at the awards ceremony on 9 May 2025 at InterContinental London — The O2.
