Written in consultation with Sarah Lewis, Research and Policy Director at Passivhaus Trust, and Will South, Passivhaus Certifier at Etude Consulting Limited, the document provides Passivhaus guidance specific to flat roofing. It introduces the Passivhaus standard; summarises the requirements that relate to flat roofing; and provides technical guidance as to how a single ply roofing system could be compliant from the perspectives of both design and installation.
