SkillBuild National Final and Construction Showcase
Following the seven regional heats that took place earlier in the year the eight shortlisted finalists will compete in the SkillBuild National Final in November. The roofing final will run alongside 9 other construction trades under one roof at the Milton Keynes Marshall arena from the 19 to 21 November.
NFRC would like to thank Hambleside Danelaw, Marley, Permavent and SIG Roofing who are kindly supporting the final by providing materials.
The competition will be open to visitors on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st November. There is also the opportunity to have a go at a range of construction related activities at the Construction Showcase which is open on the Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 3pm. NFRC would encourage you to pass the details onto to any local schools or colleges that you engage with.
NFRC will be hosting a stand at the Construction Showcase in conjunction with SIG Roofing and LSTA (Lead Sheet Training Academy). Visitors will be able to have a go at cutting slate with SIG Roofing and some lead bossing with LSTA.
