Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025-Daniel

Daniel is in his second year of his apprenticeship and hopes to continue advancing his skills in the trade.

To celebrate Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025, we invited our members to spotlight their apprentices and tell us more about careers in roofing.

An apprenticeship teaches a young person a valuable trade skill, recognized globally, and which will remain in demand for their whole working life. An apprenticeship also allows personal growth and development by building on confidence and allowing young people to mature within the working environment.

My employer has continuously given me the correct experience to enhance my skills in my trade.
