Entering the 2025 NFRC Roofing Awards is an excellent opportunity to increase your company's credibility, raise its profile, get free marketing, celebrate employee excellence, and network with the industry. It's also a great chance for a fun night out with your team.
Awards are given for projects in the following categories:
- Bituminous Hot Applied Liquid Waterproofing
- Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing
- Fully Supported Metal
- Green Roofing
- Heritage Roofing
- Leadwork
- Multi-discipline Project (over £250k)
- Rainscreen Facades
- Reinforced Bitumen Membranes
- Roof Slating
- Roof Tiling
- Sheeting & Cladding
- Single Ply Roofing
- Small Scale Project (Under £25k)
- Solar
Judges will select one submitted project to win the Project of the Year Award. The roofing industry will also vote on the shortlisted projects and choose the Industry Choice Award winner.
Take clear pictures of your projects throughout every stage of construction for the best chance of winning an award. Drone images are ok, but the judges prefer to see more detail than can often be captured in this type of photo. And don’t forget one ‘hero’ shot to really sell your project that we can use for press if you’re lucky enough to become a finalist.
The shortlisting panel and team of judges look at these five key elements when scoring entries:
- Complexity
- Challenge
- Workmanship
- Safety
- Project Management
Don’t forget PPE and good health and safety in all submitted photographs.
The awards also recognise individuals' talents and contributions in the following categories:
- Young Roofer of the Year
- Health and Safety Individual of the Year
- Local Hero award
- Environmental Champion - New category for 2025
We encourage manufacturers, architects, and everyone working alongside roofers and cladders to submit entries for those they're impressed with. The contractors who win these awards get a real business boost, so if you see good work, please share it!
Projects must have been completed between the start of January and end of December 2024 by a roofing contractor belonging to NFRC or other trade associations. NFRC's UK Roofing Awards 2025 will be held at Intercontinental London—The O2 on Friday, 9 May, 2025.
Following the 2025 awards luncheon, the afterparty celebrations will begin, with stunning views over London setting the scene for a great evening.
The 2024 awards were a day to remember, with over 800 contractors, suppliers, and merchants across the UK coming together to celebrate roofing excellence.
