England Construction Opportunities project—support for your new starters and apprentices

New entrants to the industry, now including apprentices, can receive support from NFRC, via CITB funding, to help them have a successful first six months in the job.

The England Construction Opportunities project means that NFRC can provide support, through CITB funding, to your new starters throughout their first six months on the job, to iron out any initial difficulties and increase the likelihood of them staying on for years to come. The programme terms initially meant that we could not support new starters enrolled on an apprenticeship, but CITB has now announced that we can support apprentices in the way as other new starters. To be eligible, they must be new entrants to the sector (or returning to the sector after two years or more).
