CITB Publishes Strategic Plan 2025-29

CITB outlines how they will support employers, attract new talent, and develop a highly skilled, competent and diverse workforce over the next four years.

As the government have pledged 1.5 million homes over the next five years, the CITB Strategic Plan outlines their vision to Deliver a competent and productive workforce (eradicate the skills gap), and their purpose to Support the construction industry to develop a skilled, competent and inclusive workforce now and in the future.

Three main objectives have been set:

Inspire and enable diverse and skilled people into construction
Develop a training and skills system to meet current and future needs
Support the industry to train, develop and retain its workforce

The plan is published ahead of the CITB Consensus, which will begin 17 March 2025.
