CITB Levy Proposals Published – Have Your Say

The CITB has announced an important consultation with the construction industry, running from 26 September to 24 October, to gather feedback on the proposed Levy rates for 2026–2029. This is your chance to provide input on two key options with different Levy exemption and reduction thresholds, and to evaluate the skills and training outcomes that CITB has delivered for our sector over the last three years.

Nation-specific webinars will be held in England, Scotland, and Wales to give roofing employers like you the opportunity to share your views. I will also be attending these webinars to represent our members’ interests, so if you have specific feedback on the proposals, please feel free to share it with me at ruth[email protected].

Your feedback will help shape the guidance provided to the CITB Board, which will finalise the Levy Proposal. We encourage you to attend the webinars and have your say, ensuring that roofing businesses are heard in this process. The final proposal will be voted on by in-scope employers during the Consensus process in 2025.

As a 'Prescribed Organisation,' NFRC is responsible for consulting with its members, and we will keep you updated.
