Book to attend: NFRC at Parliament on cash retentions

We are hosting an evening reception on 5 July to introduce Westminster politicians to the issue of cash retentions, how it affects our Members, and how government policy needs to change. There are still some places left for Members to attend: book now.

Book your place now to attend NFRC's evening at Parliament on the topic of cash retentions and payment practices in the roofing and cladding industry, to be held on the evening of Wednesday 5 July. NFRC regularly receives feedback from Trade Members across the UK that the practice of cash retentions causes uncertainty and losses for their business. NFRC will be therefore be hosting this reception on the Terrace Pavilion at the House of Commons on 5 July, entitled ‘Retain skills not cash', in order to deliver the message to Westminster politicians that retentions and late payment present a real barrier for specialist sub-contractor firms, exacerbating cashflow problems and holding back necessary investment in skills, technology and business expansion. The event will be hosted by Andrew Lewer MBE MP, who chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group on SME Housebuilders and sits on the parliamentary committee that covers housing. We will also be joined by other political representatives. The reception will begin at 6.30pm. Canapés and drinks will be served.

Please book your place now if you would like to attend. You will receive an email with instructions for the day, but please email [email protected] for any additional information. If you have specific dietary requirements, please get in touch with Catherine Oxley after you have booked your place.
