This category is for projects where rooftop solar PV has been Incorporated into the design of the full roof system, considering the roof structure and roof covering suitability. The installation of full roof system and PV elements to be managed by the roofing contractor.
This category is for small scale individual projects where the roof or wall waterproofing part of the project cost under £25k. There is no requirement for the type of waterproofing that is utilised in this category as long as the waterproofing is covering a habitable space.
The winner of this award is selected by the Judging panel with the project chosen from the 2024 winners. Entries for this award will not be accepted.
The Young Roofer of the Year award, will be awarded to a roofer or apprentice in recognition of their hard work, approach ability, skills and contribution to the roofing sector. Nominations can be made by anyone to recognise an apprentice, a qualified roofer with no more than three years’ experience or a roofing student.
