NFRC is working across the construction sector to increase collaboration with Scottish Parliament and local authorities, with the shared goal of improving access to pathways in roofing and construction that face critical skills and labour shortages. This reception is an opportunity to discuss gaps in construction skills education, share your ideas with Scotland's politicians, and work towards equity of opportunity for Scotland's next generation.
The event will have skills demonstrations from students engaged in grassroots initiatives across Scotland. There will be brief remarks from our host Carol Mochan MSP, as well as a prominent roofing apprentice, a representative from Edinburgh Council, and the Chair of NFRC Scotland.
