Five finalists chosen from NFRC members were invited to compete at a practical skills competition at The Centre of Roofing Excellence (CoRE) in Hereford.

The finalists were tasked with completing a laced plain tile valley and judged on their skills, teamwork, health & safety and their ability to absorb information. Standards were high and it was not an easy decision to make. We are pleased to announce that the two members of the UK roofing team are:

Joe Gallagher from I H Gallagher Ltd and Tyler Norris from Karl Terry Roofing Contractors Ltd.

Adam Humphries from Moulton Roofing is the teams reserve.

Joe and Tyler will represent the UK in Innsbruck, Austria in November where they’ll compete against teams from Austria, Germany, Switzerland as well as China and the USA.

NFRC would like to thank judges Andy Rowlands, Bob Coutts and Matt Timby as well as CoRE for hosting the event.
